Kamaole I Beach (with Charlie Young at the north end of the beach). This beach is a wonderful swimming, snorkeling, and walking beach, and less than a block away from 'The Cove',
South Maui's most popular surf break. Walk to a dozen restaurants, stores, coffee, movies, etc. Property features three pools, tennis courts, bbq areas, and impeccibly maintained
grounds.
The unit features a full kitchen, set up to properly cook and serve should the occasion and urge arise. It has AC, cable, and wirless reception. The furnishings, fixtures, and so on are all
in excellent condition, and our unit is spotlessly, professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. The bedroom is nice and private from the living room, which has a sleeper sofa to accommodate
up to two additional guests (maximum occupancy 4).
The unit is located in the best location in the closest building to the beach (3 buildings total on property): other units in our building face the street, while ours overlooks a calm, grassy courtyard.
Coffee on the lanai is a great way to start your day!
$60 cleaning fee and tax, no other fees or charges. We rent the unit for $80 during regular season, and $119 during peak (mid December through February). Owners don't plan to use the condo this
winter, so it is wide open. Please be clear: $69 rate applies only on stays now through July 14. Minimum 5 nights at that rate.

We discovered that Chillis (just down the road) was a great place to get take out, and the local grocery store is 5 minutes away. If you have a large family this is definitely for you! Our Kihei Kai Nani condo is FULLY RENOVATED as of December, 2004 with NO skimping. This new unit boasts a large modern newly reconfigured granite kitchen, all new appliances including a ceramic sealed-cooktop with oven, custom-tiled bathroom with expanded walk-in shower and all Kohler fixtures, Italian porcelain floor throughout plus much more. Even our lanai is redone with oversized porcelain tile.

Surf & Ski Cottage is a self-contained studio (not attached to another building) nestled amongst the coconut grove and perched along the banks of Wailua Stream (a small tributary off Wailua River) next to the famous Coco Palms Resort. This quaint Hawaiian style abode is within walking distance to the beach (close enough to hear the surf) and only minutes from the finest dining and shopping on Kauai. The large windows and high ceiling provide an open atmosphere filled with the spirit of aloha that penetrates the Wailua River Basin which was once the home of the ancient Hawaiian ali’I (royalty).
The cottage is part of Kauai Water Ski & Surf Co. where we offer Water Skiing, Wakeboarding and Surf Lessons. If Landlord sells or assigns the leased premises, Landlord shall have the right to transfer Tenant’s security deposit to the new owner or assignee to hold under this Lease, and upon so doing Landlord shall be released from all liability to Tenant for return of said security deposit.
Upon expiration of this Lease, any unused portion of the security deposit shall be returned to Tenant if Tenant demands such in a writing (including forwarding address) received by Landlord within one month from date of Lease expiration. Within one month of receipt of said written demand, Landlord shall mail the unused portion of the security deposit (if any), and a schedule of cleaning/repair costs, to Tenant’s forwarding address.

This is the Maui anti-condo vacation! Cool, clean, private, quiet, and located in a great South Kihei beach neighborhood (near Kam III and Keawakapu Beaches, easy walk), this 1-bedroom cottage is completely detached, with its own private yard. Sweet smelling Plumeria trees, singing birds in the morning, cool afternboon breezes, and a perfect sunning and/or barbeque area help make this fully equipped cottage a truly memorable experience, and great value for the money. We're booked fairly solidly most of the year at $110 per night, and are offering this rate as a last minute special. The cottage is available through July, with some weeks available the rest of the year and into 2010 (just ask.)

Come stay on the cool, green residential Windward Coast of Oahu away from the crowds in Waikiki. No air conditioning, but this is the beach, the unit is directly on the ocean and the trade winds blow right through the apartment as we have cross ventilation. No smoking is allowed. Both the airport and Honolulu are about a 40-minute drive in one direction and the famous North Shore surfing beaches are about 20 minutes in the other direction with the Polynesian Cultural Center 5 minutes away. Recent published figures show the nightly count of visitors in Waikiki is 75,000. Wouldn’t you rather be on a beach almost by yourselves and visit the city occasionally? This Kalanikai condo has one bedroom and 2 baths. The unit was formerly two studio's joined to be one. There are two separate rooms and entrances to each. The unit has a large screened-in lanai, which includes eating and seated reading areas with garden and pool views. There is also a fold-out couch in the living room. The bedroom's king-size bed has built-in drawers below the mattress for extra storage, in addition to the closet, cabinets and counterspace. The carved armoire holds a DVD player and cable TV. Each of the two main rooms of the condo has its own individual A/C unit and televisions. Both sides have their own bathrooms including shower, toilet and sinks. There is only one kitchen on the main side.
The pool area is in a pretty garden setting. There is common usage of the BBQ and picnic area by condo guests. You will enjoy a picturesque "peek-a-boo" view of a historic church steeple and cruise ships in Kailua Bay from the complex.
Great Hawaiiana decor, unique original artwork and carved tropical furniture ... nice Island feel.

You will love it here as much as we do! Everything in this condo, from the art work, to the furniture, lamps and dishes, has been chosen to embrace the Maui feeling. The building won the Kahili Award - Keep it Hawaiian - and we strive to meet this high standard. We have completely remodeled everything... kitchen, bathroom, carpet, paint, light fixtures, front door, lanai carpet, you name it, to make it as comfortable as possible. This is a small 42 unit, three story building named The Kulakane. Our condo is on the second floor, unit 210. Kulakane #210

The pool is right by the ocean, sometimes you get splashed by waves when you're in the pool! Our condo is less that 50 feet from the ocean. The pictures of the outdoors are taken from the lanai, but they don't quite show how spectacular it is to be right on the water.

From the front stoop, the gorgeous West Maui Mountains reign supreme and beyond the back gate is Pakala, the beach chosen by the ancient Hawaiian ali’i (chiefs) as their playground! This is a sacred area once known as Moku’ula, the spiritual and political power center of the Hawaiian Kingdom. Lahaina not only served as a favorite vacation spot for Hawaiian royalty and as a part-time residence for the royal family, it was officially declared the capital of Hawaii in 1802.
Across the street basketball and tennis courts, a field and parking lot cover the filled-in historic pond and island that was Moku’ula. The adjacent Kamehameha Iki makai (ocean) park is home to the reconstruction of traditional Hawaiian outrigger canoes and host to the annual Festival of Canoes in late spring. The site of an ancient heiau is preserved here. The beautiful beach with shallow reef-protected waters is a nesting ground for turtles and was once a heavenly snorkeling site (while much of the coral has died off, there is still some good snorkeling) which today makes an idyllic spot for launching a rubber raft and drifting in the bathtub warm water for hours. There is excellent surf at both ends of the beach with the northern spot popular with beginners and surf schools. Lahaina Harbor (with ferries to Lana’i and Molokai) is very close. Dining, bars, coffee shops, shopping and spas are all right here.

The "Triangle" is a contemporary 1200 square feet home, just 200 meters from the ocean and a two minutes drive to Kehena black sand beach. We are just as close to "Kalani Oceanside Retreat", where you can dine, dance or get great massages. The house is literally a three sided building, with walls of windows, six large ceiling fans, stained glass windows, free WiFi and phone, all set in a beautiful ever blooming garden. It has two floors, with an open floor plan, the bathroom is done in imported Balinese river rock and glass brick, finished with Italian mosaic tiles. The upper floor has one queen size bed, one double bed, two single fold out futons, as well as a spacious sitting area with TV that can be used in conjunction with VCR/DVD. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchenette, with extra refrigerator, dining area, a queen size bed and a large couch that will convert to an additional queen size bed if needed. We are located just off the beautiful "Red Road", not too far from great snorkeling, surfing and bathing or swimming in a magnificent huge natural hot spring that pretty consistently holds a temperature ranging from 92 to 100 degrees. Aloha and Welcome to Our Special Place In Hawaii!!
I don't think you can find a larger, nicer or cleaner vacation spot in this price range!!
We have a 900 square foot ohana that is the whole middle level of our three level home in Kailua-Kona, the Big Island Of Hawaii. The lanai is all across the back of the ohana and there are ocean views from the lanai and inside. The whole ocean side is huge sliders, very open and airy!!
We are almost a 1000 feet up the slope of Hualalai , much cooler than on the water and makes for good sleeping. There is a very comfortable King size bed in the bedroom along with a sitting area with two chairs and cable TV.
In the living room there are two twin beds along with a TV and many books about Hawaii and other reading material.
The bathroom is very large with double sinks, big Jacuzzi tub (enough for two) and a separate shower. All linens are here, including beach towels. There are boogie boards, noodles, beach chairs and sand toys if there are little ones.
In the kitchenette there is a small refrigerator, microwave, electric skillet, toaster oven, blender and coffee maker. Small gas bar-b-que on lanai. We start you off with a bag of coffee and paper goods.
Our location is very good, by car just 10 minutes from the airport and in 5 minutes you are by the water on Alii Drive in the middle of shops and restaurants.
You have access to a washer and dryer and if you bring your laptop , wireless is here.
Times are tight and our prices are so reasonable!! It is still affordable to vacation on the Big Island .
$65 a night for single or double. $5 extra per person over double.

Aloha.
Yes this is a very special home. Our home was built by my son and I. We spent about four years every summer, living in the jungle and building our home one step at a time. Finally in Sept 07, we passed our final inspection. However, Hawaiian state law requres owner builders to wait one year before renting or selling their homes.
So, just this past January we began renting our home as a vacation rental.
Located on the very south east point of the Big Island, about 40 minutes south of Hilo.
Home to the Kapoho tidepools, otherwise known as the Wai opea Marine wildlife national marine sanctuary.
This vast tidepool area, located right in the ocean is magnificent. Large vast tidepools, shallow and deep, all loaded with tropical fish and wonderful marine corals, awaits all of our guests.
The area of the Kapoho tidepools is also called "Vacationland". Now, don't let the name fool you, because, vacationland is not a crowded tourist spot on the island. In Fact, unlike areas of hawaii like oahu, kona, maui, kuai, Vacationland has no hotels, motels, traffic, or crowds. So there's one reason why we're not well known, epecially through the travel agency world.
But, what we do have is the most beautiful lush tropical region, home to orchid growers, papaya farmers and of course, the kapoho tidepools.
Our home is awesome. First let me say if you'd like to see my photo album, please just email me and I'll send it right on over. Next, if you'd like to see the kapoho area itself, our neighbor has put together a great website. I can't give it out here on craigs list, but if you call me, at 661-944-5044, which is my home, not an office, I'll get on the computer with you and take you to the website. You'll be amazed.
Now, about our home. It looks like, from the pics below, a two story mansion. but downstairs is just storage space. the entire structure is over 4000 sq ft, but our home upstairs is 2350 sq ft.
We offer, huge open vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans in all rooms, tile floors, fully furnished, full open kitchen with all amenities, nice complete laundry room, cable tv, dvd, surround sound in our towering cupala over the living room area. Again, the photo album shows the cupala very well.
We love the outside wrap around upstairs walkway, covered by the hip roof design. It is completely childproof, and all walkways lead to our ocean view lanai and star view terrace. Theirs a weber bbq, custom handicap stairway to house, beautiful two car garage, with garage door opener. I'll explain the garage beauty later.
\ We're about 500 feet to the ocean and a four minute walk to the Kapoho tidepools. The website I told you about, clearly shows our home from the air, and the relation to the ocean and tidepools.
Yes, the rate is 100 dollars per night. A rate no other vacation rental of our size and beauty can compete with.
What else? Well, the master bedroom has a private bathroom with a nice large jacuzzi bathtub.
We are on city pure hawaiian water. Not Catchment. A very important attribute.
And most important are the easterly tradewinds. Because of our location in the community, we have no neighbors on either side of us, or behind us. So we get an unobstructed easterly trade. also because we sit 13 feet above the ground.
Kapoho area is home to orchid farm growers, papaya farmers, and just a remote tropical paradise.
Are you the adventurous type? If so, close by the house are the champaign ponds of beachlots, the warm ponds of ahalanui, kehena black sands beach, kalapana black sands beach, the area where the lave flows down to the ocean creating an amazing volcanic explosion at nigh, andhuge steam clouds during the day. As seen in my photo album. Located about a 30 minute drive from the house.
The south coastal road, called the "Red Road of Puna" is a lush drive. Right on the ocean, with umbrella tree rain forests, wild flowers, and the sweet smells of hawaii. you can even stop at the Kalani Health spa, just 20 minutes away for a great Hawaiian message, or visit kehena black sand beach and view the dolphin pods.
We are one hour from volcano national park, about the same to Muana Kea observatory near Hilo. And of course the Hamakua coastline.
Whether you book our home in kapoho, or someone elses, I'm alway here, always ready to help you with your Hawaiian vacation.

I ask that one half your vacation be paid two weeks prior to coming over to our home. Then, upon arrival, as I said, you'll be met at the house by Winston. He'll accept your check for final payment and cleaning fee, give you the keys, and be there throughout your vacation to give you advice as to our local attractions, restaurants in Pahoa town. Which you can google. www.pahoa hawaii.com. What a beautiful little town. It does have everything you'll need for your vacation including great dining and Malmana supermarket, and even a subway, gas station, gift shop etc.
Term-100dollars per night for up to 4 persons. $10 per night over four persons, but I do limit the amount of persons at our home to 6.
80 dollar cleaning fee. We have over 2300sq ft. of Tile. Ouch
0 security deposit is required.
Smoking of any kind is only allowed on the lanai. Never in the house please.
So that's it.. I'm telling you all, if you're coming to the Islands now, or next year, book early and dont overlook our wonderful vacation rental home.

Pipeline to the toilet bowl, beach lovers always tend to find flawless beaches in Hawaii
The island's 112 miles of coastline allows for more than 130 beaches, making for one of the most scenic drives in the world. Swim at your own risk, and try not to cause any accidents while driving around the island.
Assuming you're in Waikiki, you'll find a 2-mile string of a dozen beaches just outside your doorstep. They stretch from the Ala Wai Yacht Basin to Diamond Head and are known as Kuhio, Sans Souci, Gray's and Kahanamoku. Ala Moana Beach Park, just west of Waikiki, is a favorite of local residents.
Another popular South Shore beach is Hanauma Bay Nature Park on Kalaniana'ole Highway just past Hawaii Kai in East Honolulu. Hanauma Bay is great for snorkeling and sunbathing, but expect it to be crowded. Back on the highway headed east, you'll travel along a rugged swell-splashed coastline interrupted first by Sandy Beach and then by Makapu'u. Both beaches are beautiful, but sometimes treacherous. (Lifeguards make more rescues at these two beaches than anywhere else in Hawaii.)
Continue on down the highway to Waimanalo Town, where you'll find Waimanalo Bay Recreational Center and Beach Park, a 4-mile stretch of generally safe always beautiful white sand beach. Kailua Bay, a favorite windsurfing and sailing location, offers three miles of sand, small shorebreaks for the beginning bodysurfer, windsurfing lessons and relatively deserted stretches of beach.
Along the coast to the North Shore are several beach parks of note-Kualoa, Kahana, Hau'ula and Mala'ekahana, all beautiful and uncrowded except on weekends. Next come Oahu's major surf spots. Known as the 7 Mile Miracle stretch from Sunset Beach to Haleiwa, beaches include Rocky Point, Ehukai Beach Park, Banzai Pipeline, Pupukea and Waimea Bay.
During winter months, waves may reach heights of up to 25 feet making these beaches definitely off limits to casual swimmers. But then, you can always watch the big wave riders.
Water safety tips worth remembering: consult lifeguards about ocean conditions before entering the water; heed all warning signs; never swim alone; never go out farther than you can swim; if you see someone in distress call for a lifeguard or dial 911; know your limits — if in doubt, don't go out; and never take what you can't carry (leave your valuables at home.)
Skin precautions are also recommended. Adjust to the sun gradually and use a broad-spectrum sunblock cream or lotion with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15, maybe 21 or higher. (Many Oahu lifeguards use 30+ SPF.)
Your journey begins as you head to the windward side of the Island over the Ko’olau Mountains. Located at the base of a stunning 2,000-foot lush green cliff lies the fabled Valley of the Temples and picturesque Byodo Temple. Traveling North to Kahana Bay, your guide will happily point out native plants and seabird species at Laie Point before arriving at Kahuku where you’ll visit several shrimp farms for a glimpse of some endangered wetland birds.
Further North you’ll arrive at the famous North Shore beaches, Sunset Beach and Banzai Pipeline offer incredible waves that thrill viewers and professional surfers during the winter months, November-April. Photo opportunities await at Hale O Lono Heiau, one of Oahu's best preserved temples. Situated inside the lush Waimea Valley, this unique archaeological site is an excellent site to learn about Hawaiian native religion.
Finishing your journey are stops at Turtle Beach, colorful historic Haleiwa Town and Dole Plantation.
